[mou-net] Evening Grosbeak at feeder on Gunflint Trail, Cook Co.

The pair of grosbeaks that showed up a few weeks ago recruited about 14 others- a nice mix of males and females- and today, one male evening grosbeak. When they move in to the feed bins they are enough of an army to overcome the 6 bluejay seed hogs. It doesn't take much drama to amuse us in

Today at approximately 10 am there was a flock of roughly 100 bohemian waxwings on the shore of Big Detroit Lake directly across from Sunrise Lane just south of Long Bridge. They flew off northwesterly towards Deadshot Bay. Also hundreds if not thousands of common goldeneyes and mallards
