Yesterday evening, along with a small flock of migrating White-crowned and White-throated Sparrows (which have been here for several days), I saw a Harris's Sparrow in breeding plumage. It ate some seed, and shot into a cedar bush next to the house. We saw it feeding again several times early

   We did our Tower Day yesterday. We had 71 species. It was a good day compared to the cool windy days prior. The birds were very active. We were out in the Tower for 15 hours. We had more Harris's Sparrow show up besides the one that wintered over. We also had a BW Warbler in the yard,
