The Friends of Prairie Creek WMA is pleased that Kevin Smith will lead a
trip to Koester Prairie on Saturday, June 6, 2015.
The location is one mile west of Dennison, MN on Rice County 31 and one
mile south on Lamb Avenue.
In my e-mail yesterday, I mistakenly typed Pectoral Sandpiper in the subject
line, and then reported the Solitary Sandpiper, which is the correct species.

Had a FOY Baltimore Oriole (male) here in Lauderdale, Ramsey Co. yesterday. We

At least one Tufted Titmouse continues at the same location along Nine Mile
Creek this morning. I'd like to remind others to avoid playing recorded
calls around possible nesting species.
Also seen at the same location as the Titmouse was an adult Northern Goshawk
soaring high over the creek.
Baby Mallards seen at little pond next to Hm Depot in St Louis Park (Hennepin).
Interesting, a two males are trying to flirt with/harass the female/mother.
