in the garage for the same reasons,
($300 later after the ignition wire was chewed)when put out in the driveway are
quickly snatched up an eaten by the crows.Nothing goes to waste.
I was suspecting the local Hawks,
Savaloja grant proposals for projects that increase our understanding of birds,
promote preservation of birds and their natural habitats, or increase public
interest in birds must be submitted by January 20, 2021. Yesterday's post
contained an incorrect link to access information on applying.
I had a Carolina Wren at my peanut hearts feeder in Lake Elmo on Dec 13, and
there were already a couple of other records of Carolina Wren in the metro area
in ebird. I haven't seen it again. I wonder if they are expanding their range
due to warmer temperatures and/or discovering feeders?
Mine just arrived. Love it!

A Carolina Wren showed up on the suet feeder at my Mom’s house yesterday at 4
PM and again this morning at 7:44 AM.
Visitors welcome, no need to knock on the door, feeder is in the back yard,
park in the road, walk up the driveway and go to the left of the orange garage
to view.
