I was watching the Wild Turkeys in the back yard. I saw a hawk flying into the
White Pines.
Flew over house into a white pine facing away from me. Sun was on its back.
Pine needles were covering it partially.
Eventually it turns to face my direction. Sat for a few more minutes. It flew
south
to the front yard onto a tree stump. In a couple of minutes it flew about 15'
over to
a shorter tree stump. The Wild Turkeys had now walked to the front yard and
headed towards that stump. Broad-winged flew away.
Thought it was a female juvenile according to the size and markings. Have
photos.
