Saw the Mountain Bluebird about 10am at the top of the trees near the river
along with five Eastern Bluebirds.

Found 1500 plus Canada Geese, one Greater White-fronted Goose, several Cackling
Geese south end of Otter Lake viewed from Underwood ave. Also found in McLeod
cty, two Trumpeter Swans, Red-tailed Hawk, Eagle and a flock of 75 plus Crows.

Found Mockingbird on Koala RD one mile east past the chain linked fence, right
side of the road. Was perched in a dead tree singing.

Found Winter Wren on Luce Line trail, south of 4th St NE, Hutchinson. Was
feeding among falling trees near edge of swamp.

We found the wood stork north of cty 8, watched the wood stork for a few
minutes and than a small white dog came out of the woods and tried to attack
the bird. The wood stork was able to defend itself from the dog with it's wings
and beak. The dog than went back into the woods but the stork

I plan to bird Felton Prairie this week end. Can anyone help me with locations
to find the Bairds sparrow and Chestnut Longspurs at Felton Priaire. Any

Had all these birds in my Hutchinson backyard all at the same time in the rain.

Baltimore Orioles, male and female Orchard Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks,
White-crowned,white-throated and Harris Sparrows, Catbird and
The Ganganey was still seen at 4pm at Abel and F in Crex Meadows. It was still
present when we left at 4:45pm.
