Refound the White-eyed Vireo that John Cyrus had yesterday along the old
hunting trail on the west side of Rapids Lake. Note this is not a trail for
folks with bad knees and backs as you are constantly climbing over or under
fallen trees.

Ron Erpelding called to report a Say's Phoebe that he found at 11:25 AM today.
The bird was still present until 11:45 when he left the area.
Directions are a bit complicated but the following should work.
Go south of Glenwood on State Hwy 104 about 7 1/2 miles to 255th St. Go west
about 1
earliest date ever and obviously the redpoll each day
becomes the latest date ever. Does anybody else have redpolls in the southern
2/3rds of the state? I know there are a few left in the northern parts.
