I saw a N. Hawk Owl today at 4:30 about two miles north of Cromwell
on Hwy 73, Carlton County. The bird was in a tree on the west side of
the road about 2/10th of a mile north of the mile 27 marker.

As of 2:15 this afternoon,Tony Hertzel, who found this bird,
reports that he watched it go out of sight. He deemed it unlikely
that the bird could be refound.
There were six Snow Buntings on the south end of Cedar Lake, Henn.
County at 4:30 this evening. They were near the bike path on the
south east corner of the lake.

Bruce Baer called me at 1:35 this afternoon to report a Clark's Grebe
at Lake Byllasby. It was seen from the county park on the west end of
the lake.
