I am interested in the mention of the falcons hunting rodents. Can you describe
what you have see in this regard?

In Two Harbors, MN there has been several sightings of a pair of Peregrine
Falcons in the Segog area. There also has been sightings of a total of 4 of
them today 7-16-08. A couple of them seem to be young though. They have been
hunting and eating well on rodents and smaller birds. The

banded three PEFA chicks Thursday, June 14 from a
nestbox on the USBank building in downtown LaCrosse.
They were two females and one male. This is the first
successful nest on a building in LaCrosse. In the late

Today March 14 one Peregrine Falcon (PEFA) was in the
USBank nestbox at 10:30 AM and another on the
Cathedral spire lower balcony three blocks east of the
bank at the same time. At 11:30 AM a lone PEFA was
seen flying west over Main St. between the Cathedral
the bank.
Minnesota birds:
Tim Collins, a LaCrosse birder, has reported PEFAs at
the Dresbach nest box above I90 between the Dresbach
Information Center near the west (Minn) end of the I90
bridge over the Miss. R. main channel, and the town of
Dresbach, MN. I was able to see both birds on and near
the box at 1:30 PM today,
We saw a Peregrine flying around again today. Its so nice to see her/him!
We sometimes see two of them flying around. I wonder if there is going to
be a nest downtown somewhere. They hang close to the US Bank Building (the
one with the big red 1 that lights up on top) on 5th Mn street. Of
