Hello,

320th street was under construction today as a crew using a large excavator
were working on
the marsh culvert. I arrived just as they were leaving, and 10 min after they
left the Little
Blue Heron flew on to the pond best viewed on the west side of the
construction, from MN 60.

It was perched in dead trees due south of the pond, and visible in them when I
arrived at
5:25. It flew into the pond, successfully hunted, and stayed in the area until
I left at 5:45. The
snowy egrets were not present during my viewing.
