Salt Lake and, to the best of my memory, that is not accessible. There may
be others at Big Stone, but I almost never get up there. Typically we all
pile into cars and drive down the road, until we see a wetland or

for this event. Clear skies with temperatures in the upper 70's but few wood

On Saturday at 7AM 75 hearty birders were waiting at the Marietta American
Legion to begin the 37th annual Salt Lake bird count. 128 different species
were found in Lac Qui Parle and Big Stone counties under cloudy and windy
conditions. An additional 5 species were found on Friday and Sunday.
It's not too late to join the 37th annual Salt Lake Birding weekend in western

Welcome the start of spring migration at the 35th annual Salt Lake Birding
Weekend on April 24th, 2010. Volunteers will guide birders to Salt Lake,
