Because of health reasons, I decided at the last minute to check the causeway for gulls, etc. A swirling mass of 500 gulls finally landed at 5:05pm. They all appeared to be Herring Gulls except one 1st cycle Ring-billed Gull. I saw no white-winged or dark-mantled gulls. I have yet to see even a
