In 50 years of observing waterfowl on Grey Cloud Island, today there were more Gadwall ducks than I have previously observed. Rough count at 150, along with a few Widgeon, Common and Hooded Mergansers, Mallards and numerous Ring-billed Gulls. Observed from crossing between Mooer’s Lake and Grey Cloud Channel. (Location of the Bald Eagles nest)
