This evening there were (eventually) about 650 gulls on Lake Harriet in
Minneapolis, roosting in the SW corner of the lake on the ice, about 100 -
200 meters out from shore.  Highlights included:

Great Black-backed Gull - first cycle bird (new?).  I could not find the
adult that's beenseen here.
Lesser-Black-backed Gull - 1 adult
Glaucous Gull - 4 (3 first cycle, 1 adult or near adult).  Interestingly,
the adult is a different individual from the one seen yesterday at the
Burnsville landfill.  That one was extremely clean-looking; this one had
quite a few markings on its white head and upper breast.
Thayer's Gull - at least one adult present and seen well.
And , of course, Herring and Ring-billed Gulls.
