This afternoon Monica and I found a Least Bittern calling in the portion
of Pleasant Valley Lakelet that is on the NW side of Co. Rd. 2 near
Frontenac State Park. The bird called regularly for about an hour in
the late afternoon/early evening and I managed to get a brief look at
the bird. There was also a cooperative Henslow's Sparrow and a more
secretive Bell's Vireo at the state park.
