[mou-net] Roberts Bird Sanctuary

As many of you know, the Mpls. Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is looking for a location for an off-leash dog park in south or southwest Minneapolis. Two of three locations are adjacent or very near the east entrance to Roberts Bird Sanctuary. Below is are excerpts from an update

Not much of a birder, but took a couple of hours outside this afternoon with my field glasses to visit the Roberts Bird Sanctuary near Lake Harriet. It was a little windy, but nice. One of the two ponds was clear and the larger was half clear of ice. Many Common Grackles (24) in trees
