Most of the winter we have had 4-6 pine grosbeaks. Today that number
doubled to 12 or more. other birds:
35 or more goldfinches, 14 -16 purple finches, and the usual bluejays
(5) woodpeckers. Only one nuthatch- that is interesting to me. Also,
no redpolls. Canada jays have been scarce but our dog spotted a pair
just down the road a half a mile.
