Having started this let me end it. The way resolving is used is a bit unusual, looking up would be better usage and more accurate. In any case it is more user friendly to use the vocabulary of the user rather than the designer. This is not worth more discussion. Thanks Howie Mama Cass

Hello, After upgrading from Mozilla .8 to .9 I discovered some 3000 messages in my inbox. 3000 messages that I had already processed, replied to, deleted, etc. Now I'm sifting through them (only 1000 left to go!) and I think that the upgrade did something to confuse the inbox from the trash.
