Reproductions of rare and historic sketches, maps and photographs made of the Camp Coldwater area from the 1820s through the early 1900s are on exhibit in Senator Paul Wellstone's Minnesota office. Images by Seth Eastman, a renown artist and Fort Snelling commander, Albert Sully, Henry Lewis, Adolf Hoeffler and others depict various facets of the Camp Coldwater area. Dr. Bruce White, an anthropologist, historian and Camp Coldwater scholar has assembled the collection with assistance from Dean Lindberg. The public is invited to an special open house on Tuesday, July 17th from 5 to 7 pm in the lobby of Senator Wellstone's office.
