Reproductions of rare and historic sketches, maps and photographs made
of the Camp Coldwater area from the 1820s through the early 1900s are on
exhibit in Senator Paul Wellstone's Minnesota office.

Images by Seth Eastman, a renown artist and Fort Snelling commander,
Albert Sully, Henry Lewis, Adolf Hoeffler and others depict various
facets of the Camp Coldwater area.

Dr. Bruce White, an anthropologist, historian and Camp Coldwater scholar
has assembled the collection with assistance from Dean Lindberg.

The public is invited to an special open house on Tuesday, July 17th
from 5 to 7 pm in the lobby of Senator Wellstone's office.  The exhibit
will remain in Senator Wellstone's office through August, and may be 
viewed during regular office hours: Mondays through Fridays 8:00 a.m. 
to 5:00 p.m.

Senator Wellstone's office is in the Court International building
(formerly the International Harvester building) at 2550 University Ave.
West, Suite 100 North, which is on the southwest corner of the Highway
280 and University Ave. intersection.
