The 6-7 blocks from 23rd Ave to the Hiawatha LRT are
short blocks. It wouldn't take that long to walk them.
Hopefully there will be bike racks and bike lockers available
at the LRT stations to give people the option of a short bike
ride to take the train.

Yes, I too am hoping that there will at least be bike racks at the LRT

transportation at the other end?

In regard to a possible mixed use library at 38th
Street and 23rd Avenue, John Rocker says (snipped
below) that a half mile is twice as far as what is
considered standard walking distance from the
station.
The new Roosevelt site is about half a mile to the new
