My ongoing search was answered today thanks to another poster. I stopped at 31st and Franklin today and ordered an amazing authentic indian meal. Absolutely delicious! They took what I thought as I had been on the inside and behind the counter, one of the dirtiest food kitchens I have ever seen and transformed it into this lovely clean restaurant. They were busy at lunch, had a nice buffet with some vegetarian items (yah!). I was very happy and hope more people try it. At least theres one new place that you don't have to drive far to get to. Who doesn't like a good Lassi and fresh Naan?

Also a question: maybe I am missing something; but I went to Aldi's after reading all the posts on it, and I think that Steves Warehouse (otherwise known as So-Low) is quite similiar. They have done a nice job really making Steves clean, and the Pine Sol smell has evaporated a bit, and you might find more name brands there. I was sort of stuck wondering where Aldi's gets there stuff..these strange labels?? I saw another Aldi's in Coon Rapids but have not stopped there yet to see if its the same. I mean I like that they both have unusual strange things, like gift items, household items, super deals on Toilet paper; but I found Aldi's to be a bit strange with these strange labels?? I think I will stick with good-old Steves Warehouse and the PineSol smell.
