My opponent worked very hard to get elected and I think she ran a good campaign. I was outspent and if someone would post the actual numbers that would be helpful. I think Brian Melendez misses my point about money and politics. Did Michael Bloomberg in N.Y.C spend 50 million of his own money to out bid his opponent? Well, yes he did. Marie Huaser did not buy her seat, she earned it. I was trying to explain my politically odd desire to raise as little money as possible and still have a winning campaign. R.T. did an incredible job with a lot less money. He worked very hard to not try to sell the office of Mayor as a commodity. I really admire him for that.
