Here's a good quick comparison:

The two subscriptions likely of most interest to IT Pros are the MSDN

That's what was tested, and therefore officially supported. But there's no
reason it won't work - I'm guessing you could still upgrade from BDD 2007 :)
But you would want to be cautious about it - make sure your task sequences work
fine after the upgrade. Worst case, you might need to
connected to the convention center.

Subject: RE: [mssms] OT: TechEd 2014
Remember Houston is hot and humid too - there's no way I'd walk 12 blocks
downtown, at least
See the conference hotel rates on the TechEd website:
http://northamerica.msteched.com/Hotels
These are going to be much better than the hotel's listed rates, since the
convention will suck up a good percentage of downtown Houston's (and probably
farther out as well) hotel rooms.
Thanks,
Depends on your expense account. Cab rides could be expensive if you end up at
a hotel outside the 610 loop, could easily be a 30 minute commute in traffic
(and yes, there will always be traffic, unless you plan to hang around downtown
until after 8-9pm or so). The shuttles are less
There are pre-conferences on Sunday as well, so check those out - Ben Hunter,
Mikael Nystrom and I are trying to see if we can get a larger crowd than Johan
Arwidmark and his System Center cohorts :) (It would be great if we could
organize a Sunday evening get-together too.)
Thanks,

Enable the F8 key and press it before that point to prevent the reboot so that
you can troubleshoot. There are several reasons why it will reboot without
doing anything, but you definitely need to look at the logs to figure it out.

There is no built-in one for that purpose :)
Looking at the script, there are no changes needed for MDT 2013. Just make
sure you run the script from an elevated 64-bit PowerShell session (on a 64-bit
OS), and remember that it only does the console extensions (file copies), not
the MOF file
checkboxes to select. The
default action for install is copying only I think.
Any suggestions?

.
It did copy the files, but it doesn't seem to be enough.
I can check tomorrow again though.

for developers, so I think I am good to go to
upgrade.
Thanks for the feedback.
