I think you want to run away from that idea, unless you are looking to swell
the size of your Db by many Gbs...

I am having similar funniness. I have both %programfiles% and
%programfiles(x86) as paths for *.exe on separate entries.
I first thought I was having a client side SINV issue but I disproved that
yesterday.
I am trying to verify a deployment based on an .exe and I am showing 2000
missing or
if I find out anything.

So I'm not sure if you can even do that, that being said, there is an issue
with SW inventory in general in that it can take days for the data to even show
up, even when you force inventory. There is a 240 minute delay on the server
side and a randomization on the client side as well. So
