In SCCM 2007 reporting you could link a report to Link to Computer Details by
the computer name. Is there an equivalent in 2012?
Dave
no there is not, but i was looking into how to do this.

In SCCM
Linking is possible but you will have to create one for computer resource
details and link it.
You can do it using visual studio easily.

You mean create a report that looks like “link to computer details” in SCCM
2007. I can make reports but nothing that complicated. “Link to computers
details” in SCCM 2007 is not a report, it’s some kind of everything view.

With the final version of CM2012 R2 on the verge of release, I'm preparing

Has anyone used Branch Cache and Pull Distribution Points in SCCM 2012 with
workstations or servers successfully? If so, what type of SCCM environment do

I have used both, although I prefer 1E NOMAD to Branch cache. I had a client
with 3 remote locations, 300+ clients each and no servers. Implemented Nomad
works like a charm for deployments.

We are seeing this as well in our test environment and have opened a case with
Microsoft. Our initial findings are that this occurs when you attempt to
install the SCCM client on a server which also host the management point role.
We were able to work around the issue (as proof of concept) by

My guess is this order is happening:
1) Computer record is created
2) Task sequence creates direct membership rule for computer
3) Collection refreshes because of the new rule, but limiting collection is
all systems and computer isn't there yet so it isn't added
4) Computer is added to the All
