Hi
Yesterday I was trying to connect my SCSI harddisk to my Gouda interface
on my MSX2. After connecting, switching on the power of the harddisk,
the interface reported:
SCSI bus is down
Host interface self-test failed
and goes to BASIC.
I guess this is caused by not connecting terminators?
When I wrote this, I tried it with the FM-PAC in slot 1. Now I got
myself a slotexpander, so I put the FM-PAC in the slotexpander (slot 2-1

FM-PAC! Other software works fine with the FM-PAC in both slots...
HOW CAN THAT BE??
Any SCSI bus needs proper termination. One terminator at both end.
Without any terminator most controllers will not work at all, because the
hardware is designed to see the termination. For very short cables one
terminator will sometimes work, but it is not recommended at all.
The error you

Some years ago (1991) I saw a game on a disk from ASCII-magazine
called Sea Sardine. I copied it and finished part one as only part one
was on the disk.
Does anybody have part two? Does anyone know if there even exists a part
two?
