Hi Mahesh,
How does your check_nt command look like?
Have you defined it with the proper variables?
I don't know how you have defined it but it should look something like
this,
Check_nt $ARG1$ $ARG2$ ...
Have you tried running the command from your shell?
If you want to learn
I try adding 'retain_status_information 0' in host definition for
Nagios
server. Now, its host status is 'pending' instead of 'down'. But the
default host initial state shouldn't be 'up'?
You could try sending a passive check result to put it back into an OK
state.

Excuss the noobie post but I've just new to Nagios and have setup my first
server running on Ubuntu Server 6.606.
The enviroment I'm in is an all Windows shop , and I'd like to monitor such
services like IIS.

Hi,
I am configuring nagios version 2.10 on RHEL 4 . The clients to this system
are IBM AIX, Sun Solaris, HP_UX , The alerts set to these systems are
working fine except check_local_disk. The same is working ok for Linux. The
plug-in version I am using is 1.4.10.
Thanks in advance ..

Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know that we've published the 1.0 release of our
open source integration plugins for Nagios. To make it really official,
we've added a new Nagios section to our site. This serves another function,
as I've posted my slides from the Nagios conference as well --
Andreas,

Hi,
I am using some CGI filters in a Custom URL for our NOC.
The URL I am using is:

Hi,
Never compiled this on Solaris.
It seems it doesn't like :
static struct option long_options[50];
struct option is defined in getopt.h I think. Maybe it it different with
Solaris.

Hi all!
I've some problems executing check_oracle plugin via check_nrpe.
In the Oracle server:
sdptest:/usr/local/nagios/etc# cat /usr/local/nagios/etc/nrpe.cfg | \
grep check_sysaux
command[check_sysaux]=/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_oracle
--tablespace x y z SYSAUX 90 80
Provided you verified the syntex is correct and works for other disks,
The problem may be in plugin running on the Windows Host.
make sure to run check_nt from the command line for testing that way you
know its not the configuration that is interfering. particularly since the
error you posted
