Anyone uses a plugin check_md_raid from nagiosexchange.org?
While my arrays were rebuilding I ran this plugin and got an error:
backup:/home/rage# mdadm --manage /dev/md3 --fail /dev/sda5

Both is possible if you can script the connect and reboot/restart..
