usar, poderia me informar os procedimentos..
Obrigada.

Cristina,
host down),
Obrigada.

Another good thing to check is that apache is in the nagios group.
Ie (from mine);
# cat /etc/group | grep nagios
nagios:x:503:apache
nagcmd:x:1511:nagios,apache

If you want to check the content of a page you can use
check_web_form.py
Hi Josh,
You can, I believe, define a host using it's DNS name, however I and I'm
sure the rest of the community would discourage that for the simple
reason that if the DNS doesn't resolve, that host will be deemed down.
However to check a website you can still add the host via it's IP
For the list's information, there is a bug in
nagios-3.0.3-ja-utf8.patch, which the developer knows about and will
apparently be fixed in the next version.
I recently applied the nagios-3.0.3-ja-utf8.patch to my Nagios

Hi There,
We have a nagios server that is at one branch, this checks multiple
servers at our data center. My question is:
Is it possible to stop email notifications if the entire network link
to the branch is offline for some reason?
This will only happen on very rare ocassions, but it does
I if you have a core router or firewall I would set that as parent to
the rest of the servers in the data center and create a hostgroup that
was child to the core router or firewall. This way you should only get
1 notification for the router or firewall
