o Plugin já está na pasta libexec já coloquei o check_command no arquivo
command.cfg
Porém, na pagina que eu havia citado anteriormente, ele só me dá a sintaxe
do define command. Fica faltando a sintaxe do define service que eu não
consegui colocar pra funcionar.
Desde já obrigado.

Hello.
I'm using Nagios 3.0.3 to monitor things such as time (synchronized with
NTP) on our servers, and are getting a lot of semi-duplicate notification

time the clock drift increases or decreases. Is there an option I

Hi Friends,
Hi,
I'm running the latest version of nagios - 3.0.5.
On my remote hosts, I'm running NRPE.
I haven't used nrpe with nagios since 2.9, so I'm wondering did I miss
how things work now that we are 3.0.
I have a bunch of checks - disk, load, users, etc, but I'm not putting
it through nrpe,
This is not nearly enough information to offer any sort of help other
than You're obviously misunderstanding or misstating something.
Please include (at the very least) some relevant configs.

I applied the patch and it worked.
I selected a host and told it to disable checks for all services and the
host and this time it did it.

That's the thing, I don't have nrpe installed around. Which is where
my confusion is.

Don't forget that the directory you specify for the RRD files to go must
be writable by the user you run Nagios as.

That seems like a question google would be able to answer for you pretty
easily.

Hi James,
Thanks for your help.
I have pasted into ngshared.pm
use lib '/usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi/';
Now there is no error when I execute that perl script from cmd prompt.
But when I click from Nagios webinterface for nagiosgraph link of that
service. It open a new
short question as I'm currently in the progress of switchin from Nagios 2
to Nagios 3
and had my performance data within APAN I plan to switch to something more

so my question... which one do you use? and why did you choose exactly this one?

Thanks a lot for all your help. I have added use lib

Now its reading the perfdata and that file is empty. Also created rrd
files but not for the service AllCOMPONENT PEGCOUNT' which I have

We also configure check_logfiles as a volatile service, but that doesn't
solve the problem at hand.
I still don't understand how to get Nagios to send notifications until we
acknowledge the problem, without ignoring future problems. Can anyone
explain if this is possible?

That's a perfectly good question.

Hello Nagios Users,
I'm wondering why a host appears under unhandled problems if its
parent is down, but acknowledged. Shouldn't the host that has a down
parent that is acknowledged be handled?
Thanks for your thoughts.

we tried nagiosgrapher, but that seemed to impact the performance of our
nagios server quite a bit, we therefore tried pnp in bulk mode with
npcd, and found it worked a lot better for us.
another thing I liked about pnp, is that it will graph any check with
performance data, any new checks added
