All plugins should go in /usr/local/nagios/libexec folder, the plugin should
be made executable. You can reference the path to the libexec folder by

Hi Guys,
Nagios is a wonderful tool but it's status map is not the prettiest. Any
tool out there that I can integrate with nagios to produce nice maps. I will
love something that I can use to create multiple maps that are all connected
to a general map?

this shouldn't be the issue).
Any suggestions on how to debug this?

Hi,
Running rc1 on FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE. Compiled both from ports and from

By the way, in case it helps, here's what lsof says about the child process:

:-)
Is there any mechanism to report this as a bug?

Hi Guys,
I know this is a trivial question. I will like to know which command runs
first, is it the service or host command. For instance.
I have a unix server that has the 'check-host-alive' command and then I add
a 'check_ping' and 'check_tcp' command. Which one runs first?

So are you saying the service commands run before the host commands?

Normally, the check-host-alive doesn't run unless there is a failure of

I am not talking about the interval_length in the main nagios.cfg file, I am
talking about the 'normal_check_interval' parameter when you are creating
service definitions?
