How hard is it to upgrade Nagios from version 2.0b3 to 2.5 (or any other
version for that matter). I am only using the basic SNMP checks such as
check_disk, check_cpu, and ping. That is all I need at the moment. Is the
upgrade just execute an RPM and possible restore of config files?
I fell into the same trap. The install
package installs minimal.cfg but no other ones.
If you create the necessary cfg files by
hand it will work, also uncomment the necessary files in nagios.cfg when they
