Hello,
I am using the check_http plugin for checking the SSL cert expiry. Even if the
cert is not due to expire very soon, the plugin reports as CRITICAL.
I have few more certs for which the plugin reports correct status.
What could be going wrong over here. ??

macro names are good. I have verified each and every macro I am using
multiple times.
I suspect something wrong with the notification script.
the script works fine when I execute it manually.
But when it comes to nagios, I don't find any record of HOST DOWN/UP

notifications do not work.
Why are service notifications working when the above lines are missing
??

Everything works, except host notifications. Nagios detects any DOWN
hosts but doesn't send out notifications.
Here are the commands i use for service
the
blessed ones. May be, i need to tweak my search queries.
Anyways, it seems i am on my own. I liked your last suggestion btw; i'll
clone my production box and experiment on it.
