What error message are you getting?Have you tried the check from the command line on the host?run nsclient++ /test and try a few commandsHave you tried the check from the command line on the Nagios server?

Thanks to all for all the suggestions. The readme of NSClient was a bit
confusing. I will try to configure nsclient as well as nsclient++ today
and give a feedback about both the options.

The other tools are needed if you want to edit the source code of NSClient.
The source is in Pascale, and some of the tools need a relatively newer version of Pascal.
you should be able to install NS_Client without using any of these extra files.
also I believe there is (or was)a trial version
