Existe uma maneira de se fazer este upgrade, ou é necessário reinstalar tudo novamente?

Felizmente estou partindo para um novo projeto, e por isso, infelizmente, meu atual projeto Nagios+Cacti está ficando sem pai...
Portanto, estou a procura dos colegas que fizeram o curso de Nagios na semana do Software Livre em Brasília, lá nos correios.

Tem q instalar tudo de novo...
Eu geralmente faco a instalacao do Nagios em diretorio distintos e
depois eu faco um link logico para apontar pelo Apache. Assim qdo vc
muda de versao basta instalar em outro diretorio e mudar o apontamento
do link logico.

You should look through all of your configuration files.
accept_passive_service_checks is a global setting, you most
likely want to put passive_checks_enabled 1 either directly
in each definition or in some generic template that is included
(use ...) in your definition.

at http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/1_0/xodtemplate.html if you didn't see
that.

Near as I can tell from the src, nagios logs a failed service check
with Service check did not exit properly when it can't execute the
service check plugin.

So, I got cute, I made a wrapper that logs when it starts, and any
output from check_snmp_if or the exact error when it can't
lets say I have 14 matched instances when I do my check_logs.pl .. via NRPE ..is it possible to return EACH of the 14 instances for the email?
