Hello Pedro
Probably has one or more mistakes in your nagios configuration files.
You can try to stop it by the command line, or killing the main
process. After that, you can try do start it by command line, and keep
on alert to see the error mesage on screen. Maybe on log files you can
find
Unico jeito eh dar KILL no processo...
Eu nunca uso o restart, prefiro usar start/stop. Ao menos na 2.0b3
Espero q tenham melhorado na 2.0b4, ainda nao olhei o changelog dessa vs.

I'm sorry HP Geeza,
but you have posted it in the wrong topic...
Could someone remove the irrelevant SNMP posts from my original
thread?
My question still remains, and it is not check_snmp related.
Thanks,

Title: No data displayed in webview
I have recently upgraded from Nagios 1.2 to Nagios 2.0. I am running on Fedora Core 3 now, I was running on Fedora Core 2. Nagios starts up fine, and when I look in my nagios.log file, I see the data for each of my clients. When I bring up the web page, No
Hi

Thanks for the advice,
I'm going to try the sms2email initially as I have only a few days until
I'm out of the office for a week, then when I'm back from holiday see if
I can't get sms_client to work. Fingers crossed the office doesn't melt
down in the meantime.

If you can put plugins on the monitored end use check_by_ssh with
check_disk on the client end. or write a plugin with an RSA connection
in ssh to run the following commanr
ssh _host_ -l nagios -e df -k
and parse the output in your plugin.

Hi Subhendu,
Appologies for the silly question but what do you mean add a -m?
Add a -m:
The colon after the -m option indicates an empty miblist. You don't
need a miblist if you are providing a numeric OID.
A normal miblist is a colon separated list of

Hi
Thanks for the info, but im affraid it still isn't working :-(
FYI
Macros have changed from 1.2 to 2.0.
See http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/2_0/whatsnew.html
e.g. You will have to update most of your command definitions to match
the new macros.

So how do you solve the visibility in the nagios interface problem?
(without allowing everyone to see everything)
The problem is that a given person really only wants to have a single
nagios login to see everything they own, but need to customize the alerts
they receive.
