Hi folks!
I am testing nagios plugins ver. 1.4 on my HP-UX 11.0 server, but none of
them seem working fine.
I tried to use them on a Nagios 1.1, Nagios 1.3 and a Nagios 2.0, but always
receive answers like:
check_TCP: Invalid hostname/address - 10.1.1.1
Same commands, using 1.3.1 plugins
Nope
Adds database support
to Nagios 2, and replaces the existing CGIs with new ones written in any
language you prefer (currently PHP).
Check http://sourceforge.net/projects/nagios-db/
Thanks.

Which repository has the latest build for FC4? Dag Wiers is only doing
FC3.
If you want to install the FC3 rpm on FC4 using YUM - I found that I
needed to configure my repos.d file for DAG specifying a specific version,
otherwise yum doesn't find it.
like this:

name=Dag RPM Repository

If I understand well, you want your check_disk on HostA to be send to the 2
mailing lists, while all the other check_disk being only send to one of the
mailing list?
If I am true, then you could create a new service, check_disk_A, doing
exactly the same things than the regular check_disk, but

That worked for PING (an active check) but its not working for passive

I have a DISK for all-hosts but I made a second definition in services.cfg

Is there an option to have check_http command check for http service on

Hi list,
Thanks to the developers for getting 2.0 released! We
have almost 2000 service checks running on a Nagios
monitoring system and performance in 2.0 is noticably
improved.
We were noticing after about 2 weeks of uptime with

./check_http --help will show you that
you can specify the port you may have to change definition in the commands
configurration file. I created a second definition check_http_443 to go
against port 443.

Hi everyone:
I am thinking about writing a WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) client
for Linux. This would basically be a command line way to perform various
performance queries to a Windows box - with absolutely no agent software
anywhere. All that would be required on the Windows side
