if the service status is stale for
24hours
- notification period will help me to be not notified in the night.
This finally do not resolve the whole problem.
I want to be notified of this night error on this morning and not
tomorrow morning or tomorrow night.
Do you have ideas?
Thanks
Matteo

You can parse the file status.dat and publish only information that you
want.

I have more or less 50 entries that I should duplicate. I would like
something like
service1 notify contact_sms, contact per sms and email
and then in contacs.cfg set globally that corti_sms should receive only
one notification.

Tonight the mysql server disappeared but I continued to receive
notifications for both services.
Any hints or suggestions?

Hi,
I was wandering if it is possible to have nested hosgroups (i.e., having
an hostgroup member wich is an hostgroup).
Many thanks,

Hi,
I finally got it: I had a type in physical_html_path in cgi.cfg. It was
not so obvious to see it since everything else was OK.
Anyway: many thanks to everybody.

I can see the icons in the host list but not in the status map where I
simply see squares (in the popup the icon is OK). Looking on the web I
saw that it should be possible to have the icons in the map itself but I
am obviously missing something.

Hi,
I configured nagios (2.0) to read the hostextinfo.cfg file where I
configured some hosts with icons. Example:
define hostextinfo{
host_name
, no mountd running)'
fi
fi
#if [ -x /usr/local/sbin/snmpd ]; then
# echo -n ' snmpd'; /usr/local/sbin/snmpd

echo '.'
mkdir /var/run/nagios/
chown _nagios:_nagios /var/run/nagios/
/usr/local/sbin/nagios -d /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg
