ANYTHING that is purchased online and not taxed is to be kept track of by
the buyer. Not just for business, but personal items, too.
You then have to somewhat itemize what you bought and pay YOUR states tax.
It would be so much easier for everyone if where we purchased our goods
would just tax us.

They way I understand this all, retail vs usage, vs home usage, you
follow your state laws. Not the sales tax of the state you are
purchasing from.
So if you buy clothing from another state on-line. And your state
does not have sales tax on

Diana, when I was hit with this, our accountant said that the companies do
have to report on each state sales and that is how they know. She could be
wrong..all I know is that I had to pay it!

I am totally confused. So this is a Sales and Use Tax issue? That is for
retail
stuff you sell. You should not be buying supplies with no tax, just what you
retail and charge tax for.
