it may make people want to implment gui pieces in the backend, so that may be
bad.
so, to summarise:
i would like to try it first with the media cente:
what exactly should be done to port the models?

for different reimplemented bindings, but if is just a simple listing of
stuff, no need to duplicate bugs ;)
It may be nepomuk-core? (since it has a library, so unsuited for kde-runtime)
anyways, as general concept.. opinions/comments?

with an older nepomuk revision to see if we

Vishes: what's the best way to proceed now?

, with 6.1.4 all queries do work now :)
but the problem that remains is that is way slower than before, the same query
that before was nearly instantaneous now takes almost one minute to perform :/

And, yes, the virtuoso branch needs to be merged in kdelibs indeed.
i tried on 2 different systems with 6.1.2 and 6.1.4, now i'm trying to install
6.1.5

ok, if i apply the attached patch to the nepomuk-core repository (besides

tough further testing needed
the kdelibs merge, and those 2 patches applied should really happen asap

Hi all,
I have a question about the importing of shared-desktop-ontologies.
since this is a thing that takes a very long time is something that

on active we are shipping a dump of the whole database

the issue seems quite difficult to debug: from what events exactly
importing the ontologies happens?
is there any way/plan to improve startup performance in this regard?

uh, there is another issue on all the queries that have anything to do with
types.
in the presentation of the activity screen ui, we chosen

So basically you must construct the query using the API and then add the
CreateCountQuery flag.
uhm, but does this support group by as well?

Do you mean feasible in C++? Then the answer if of course yes. If you
say feasible in the desktop query language, then no.
was meaning both, so ok, will need some kind of c++ binding as well

it's all in playground/nepomuk, right?
here looks like there could be some duplication of effort with great
