I read in the release notes that the trap fowrarding authentication has been

instructions?

Yes?
And what was the output immediately before this?
Hello net-snmp-users
I try to modify the nsExtendCommand OID with no success. According to
the documentation of snmpd.conf, this should be possible:
Both extend and extendfix directives can be configured dynamically,
using SNMP SET requests to the NET-SNMP-EXTEND-MIB.
Do I understand something

I refresh snmpd.conf, but, as you know, we should stop and

Thanks for the explanation. That helps a lot. I checked the permissions but that didn't seem to be the problem. I'll look at it again and see if I can make better progress. Incidentally, I noticed that the 5.3 binaries are no longer available and the

Correct.
*None* of the tools in the 'apps' directory are used by snmpd.
They all make use *OF* snmpd.
That's why they're all grouped together into the

And even with the config file, you shouldn't need to *stop*
the agent - just send it a HUP signal to reload the config.
What is entry to reload the config in SNMP source code? I want to learn.
Thank you very much!
