_____________________________________ MOURNING IN AMERICA After watching the funeral procession down Constitution Avenue and Dick Cheney’s wonderfully-delivered eulogy, we packed up the kids and headed down to Washington last night to join the thousands of Americans saying good-bye to Ronald Reagan. It took us almost five hours to snake through the lines and security checkpoints and get to the Rotunda to pay our respects to the greatest president of the 20th century...but it was worth every minute. And I didn’t hear one person utter a single discouraging word about the wait. Not even from our two-year-old and four-year-old daughters...which I consider to have been a minor miracle in itself.
