We are pleased to announce the “Workshop on data analysis using NONMEM”
organized by Population Approach Group of India (PAGIN). PAGIN is a
non-profit group in India, devoted to sharing and furthering knowledge and
skills in Population based data analysis. PAGIN conducts annual workshops,
and has held ten workshops so far. These were received well and appreciated
by the NONMEM learning community in India.

This year PAGIN organizes workshop in July focused on Population PK-PD
modeling.

Course Faculty: Dr. Ayyappa Chaturvedula, Associate Professor, Department
of Pharmacotherapy, University of North Texas Health Science Center
(UNTHSC), Fort Worth, Texas, USA, Dr. M. Surulivel Rajan, Associate
Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS, Manipal Academy of
Higher Education, Manipal

Target audience: undergraduate and post graduate and PhD students of
pharmacy and medicine disciplines. Academics and Pharma industry
participants will also benefit from this workshop. Participants are
expected to bring their own laptops with R installed in it. Instructions
will be sent to registered participants.

*Population Pharmacokinetics Data Analysis and Visualization *

This workshop runs for three days with dedicated time for introduction and
hands on with R software package for data processing and data
visualization. Programming in R is considered as an important requirement
in the field of Pharmcometrics, therefore this section has been introduced
since last year. Day two and three will focus on introduction to the
concepts of population pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics models and
hands-on exercises with NONMEM software package. The software will be
provided in flash-drives for the participants to work during the workshop.
