Hi,
I've again a problem but I don't know how to solve it. Please
help...
I want to test the Image Database. The XML file for my testing is
written and now I want to produce the PDF with this:
texexec --pdf --use=fig-make test.xml
and the output looks like this:

Hi,
The latest distribution has an experimental ruby kpse class in
kpsefast.rb (expects updates -). As far as i can measure it's not slower
than native kpse and once loaded in a ruby prog it's faster of than
reinvoking kpse each time; it can (optionaly) dump the database in a
home/temp path

Hi Vit,
It is some kind of inconsistency/bug in the ec encoding: if there is
equivalent /dcaron present, then trere should be /tcaron too instead
/trightquote.
So, how do the fonts name the glyph?
looking to my font/afm directory:
afmgrep -S -l tcaron *.afm |
This has worked, but now I've another problem with the same:
systems : begin file test at line 333
(./test.xml) (./test.xml
fonts : resetting map file list
fonts : using map file: original-base
fonts : using map file: ec-public-lm
fonts : using map
Hi Jacko,
There is some confusion about tcaron. The problem si that when another
name is used, am2tfm cannot create proper small caps when there is no
matching upper/lowercase slot.
What do you advice in this. Should the ec enc file be changed?

well, since mojca want some additional glyphs as well, why not make an
ecx.enc file that fixes these things; actually, you only need that file for
generating metrics and rename the ecx-* files to ec-* afterwards; we can
tweak texfotn to use a different encoding name and

And about the ConTeXt-specific: dcroat and Eth are both already
present in ec encoding, so I'm not asking for any additional glyphs.
It's not OK to use Eth when someone asks for Dcroat (Dstroke), but
it's better than using the improvized (althoug corrected) version,
