Ah, you've probably got me wrong … what I'd like
just keep them in one file and access the images by page, so ..
include
page 4 from file bla.pdf
This is what I'd do with ConTeXt … wicked trick, by the way ;-) But
how to do that with LaTeX? I know it's somewhat off topic …
