Hi,
before getting the train to Praha there is an urgent last problem to be solved:
The bottom line of body text and footnote text need to be absolutely at the
same height (due to a very thin paper used)!
I tried to fine-tune the height of layout by 1pt up-and-down, but the
difference stays:
I didn't update my context beta for some time and now I seem to have missed an
important(?) change. This is my current installation script and running it
always worked without a hitch:
#!/bin/bash
CONTEXTVERSION=beta
CONTEXTDIRECTORY=/Volumes/ALDARAN/TeX/ConTeXt/$CONTEXTVERSION
rm -rf

Thank you all for your detailed answers. Wolfgang's suggestion does
not produce any errors and seems like the perfect solution except that
I have trouble loading any of my installed CJK fonts. I have tried to
play with \definefontsynonym for ConTeXt to find the font files. I
have
- OpenType fonts
The \sqrt is not work properly in Mkiv. The following is the minimal
example, and the result is attached
\setupbodyfont[xits]
\starttext
\startformula
\sqrt{abcde}
\stopformula
\stoptext
