Dear all,
I am trying to reproduce with ConTeXt an old french text that contains numerous
abbreviations, mostly of two types:
- words cut off by means of a period, with the last letter of the complete
word as a superscript above the period.

2context.vim is missing from the latest zip for t-vim. I will upload a new
version; in the mean while, please
Of these two variants the second works.
The first gives as error an old enemy: the \Umathquad error
% gives an error:
\startsetups[test]
$\displaystyle
a=1

\stopsetups
\setup[test]
\stoptext
% works:
\starttext
$$\displaylines{a=1\cr b+c+d=3\cr}$$
\stoptext

while we are at it: how to do do strikethrough text? there is a changelog
on contextgarden which says it was added, but \strike or \strikethrough are
not defined.
i have (a diagonal) one here, but it doesn’t really work in math mode (the
text inside is normal). that being said, is there something

Hallo,
Does anybody have a receipe for sorting a list of content by chapter title
in stead of by chapternumber??
Or alternatively is there a way to use a manually sorted book.tui file in
the compile cycle of a book?
Thanks

Dear all,
Few months ago a PI letter surrounded with developed pi numbers in
spherical case has been noticed in one Context publication.
I would be very pleased if anyone knows in which document it is or how can
I design set of numbers or text in spherical shape.
Thank You very much in
Hi,
whats wrong with this code?
Times New Roman.ttf states to be an otf font.
But the \sc gives no Times New Roman:
\definefontfeature[default][default]
[mode=node,script=latn,smcp=yes]
\definefontfeature[smcp][mode=node,smcp=yes]
\unexpanded\def\sc{\addfs{smcp}}

Better is to use: \StrikeMeFrame{\mathsurround\zeropoint$#1$}. But for
this to work in subscripts and superscripts, you must use math palette.
IIRC, \mframed does that. In principle:
\mframed[background=strikeme]{**...}
should work (untested).

First-page layout is an issue that I have asked about before, but
maybe I am doing something wrong. Here is my question in an earlier
