Thanks Aditya: I added the new syntax to the wiki.

Is it correct that inbetween works only when
it inserts some kind of vertical space?
\setupitems[location=top]
%\def\MyInBetween{\blank[20pt]}%works
\def\MyInBetween{???}% did not work
\starttext
\framed{\items[symbol=?,
inbetween={\MyInBetween}]{SPD,CDU,GrĂ¼ne}}
\stoptext

Hi all,
in strc-itm.mkiv I found the following example:
\def\MyItemCommand#1{{\bf#1}\quad}
\setupitemgroup[itemize][command=\MyItemCommand]
\startitemize
\item {test} is this okay?
\item {test} is this okay?
\item {test} is this okay?
\stopitemize
Is it deprecated? Is there an alternative?

Hello,
I'm probably missing something simple. How can I setup vertical
spacing between items in itemize environment?

Hello Piotr,
Itemizations can be setup with
\setupitemgroup[itemize][each][inbetween={\blank[5cm]}]
This should do the trick.
A good source of information is also http://texshow.contextgarden.net/
Kind regards Willi
