I've already tried columnsets. With or without grid=yes, with or without a
columnspan, using columnsets produces the following log even though the
table fits on one page.
pages > flushing realpage 1, userpage 1, subpage 1
pages > flushing realpage
columnsets need \setuplayout[grid=yes] – did you check that?
