And how do I switch off the equation numbering for the chemical reactions (I'd like to have the mathematical formulae still numbered)? Stupid me. Just by leaving the \placeformula out. (Maybe I should go and get something to eat, my brain seems to be in some sort of energy-saving mode.) By
